Denver Community will cash your checks for less than you can cash your checks at traditional check cashing locations.

How it works:

The first time you cash a check, we will verify your identification, address and employer. This brief initial verification will serve to make future check cashing quick and easy. Future check cashing can then be completed by simply presenting a valid (unexpired) form of identification.

Acceptable forms of identification include:

• Government Issued Driver License or ID Card
• U.S. Military Identification
• Mexican Consulate ID
• International Passport

Examples of checks you can cash:

• Payroll checks
• Government checks
• Social Security checks
• Tax checks
• Welfare checks
• Checks issued by the City & County of Denver
